I’m a Michigan wedding + elopement photographer who REALLY cares about making your wedding day fun, stress-free and centered around what really matters (hint— it’s NOT the photos. Those are just the fun surprise that comes later). I want your wedding day to be about you, your partner, and maximizing your time so you can relax and enjoy the day without worrying about logistics, a shot list, or any of the things that don’t really matter. THIS PART IS SO IMPORTANT
Starting right after you sign a contract, we can start planning your elopement! I suggest getting all the basics planned as soon as possible because one thing about Mackinac Island is that busy season is BUSY and things get booked up well in advance. So to make sure we can make your dream day happen, we’re going to get everything planned + booked early.

On elopement day, you get to sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of our planning labor— with everything booked and planned, it’s going to be smooth sailing on your wedding day. Let’s take a carriage ride, do photos in all the best places, champagne toast at dinner, and dance at the Pink Pony without a care in the world.

THE PART THAT’S HARD TO WAIT FOR
After your elopement day, I get to work on your photo gallery. It’s going to take me 4-8 weeks to get it back to you, but rest assured I’m working hard on it and so so excited to get you the final result. I take my time editing to make sure everything is perfect and that your photos look stunning!

FAQs
What is the difference btwn a micro wedding and an elopement?
For the purposes of booking with me— nothing. I consider them to be essentially the same thing and I price them the same. But in general, elopements are just you, your partner, and maybe a handful of your closest loved ones + friends. They are usually way more adventure + portrait focused. My elopements are crafted to include pricing for you and your partner— but you can absolutely have anyone tag along that you want on your day!
Do you work with LGBTQ couples?
I work with ALL couples. LGBTQ, BIPOC, any ethnicity or religion— I welcome them all. I center inclusivity in anything that I do. If you value kindness, openness, and doing things your own way— we’ll get along AMAZING.
Do you shoot traditional weddings too?
YES. Though micro weddings + elopements have my heart for many reasons, I still love a traditional wedding if that’s what’s best for you! I’m just not a “traditional” photographer (I won’t be constantly disrupting your moments to get “the perfect photo” or focus heavily on portraiture— I want the couple to enjoy the day authentically or it feels icky to me). If our values align and you want someone who will be more intentional about your big wedding experience, I will HAPPILY come along for the ride! Ask me for a pricing for traditional weddings if that’s what you’re looking for!
Do you give discounts if we want less coverage?
Put simply— no. I do not believe that photographing any kind of wedding even in less than 4 hours is going to successfully tell anyone’s story (and if you disgree, that’s ok! I’m just not the photographer for you). My packages and my pricing are crafted carefully with intention in mind, and allows me to have what I need to show up rested and energetic to give you the photos that you deserve! I have 2 different packages that offer different ranges of inclusions and hourly coverage so that you pay only for what you want— if that’s everything, amazing! If you’re a on a budget, we’ll get you what you want without forcing a bunch of stuff you don’t need onto the day.
